Welcome to Little Oak Cattle Ranch

A Little About Us

We're Nate and Tammy Bozarth, proud owners of Little Oak Cattle Ranch. Our story together began when we met on horseback at a ranch fundraiser, brought together by our shared enjoyment of riding and the country lifestyle.

Animals in general have been part of my life since childhood. My involvement with cattle began in the 1990s when my children began raising livestock through the 4-H program. Those years brought wonderful memories, including earning Reserve Champion honors with their beef at the county fair. Nate brings his own experience working with horses, along with the craftsmanship and skills that have gone into the building and maintaining of our ranch-undeniably some of the hardest work.

Over the years, we've made wonderful memories of volunteer work with Backcounty Horsemen of California, packing our stock into the Golden Trout Wilderness to perform trail maintenance. In 2010, we purchased our property in the beautiful hills of Caliente, California, where we've continued to build our life together, With ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren so far, the future is looking bright!

Today, we're raising American Aberdeen (Lowline) cattle with an emphasis on quality breeding, individual animal care, and sharing our appreciation for the livestock with the next generation. We're grateful for the opportunity to pass along the values of hard work, responsibility, and good cattle stewardship, helping preserve the tradition of raising quality beef cattle for generations to come.
